“I didn’t choose shoes. Shoes chose me.” Alex grew up surrounded by artisans — his grandfather’s bridal atelier on Jonker Street in Melaka and his parents’ Bata store. Though he studied marketing and worked in advertising, fate led him to footwear product development, where he trained on factory floors in Malaysia, Europe, and China, learning that every millimetre counts. For Alex, designing shoes is deeply personal. Each pair is tested, refined, and approved to ensure women walk differently — with confidence, elegance, and ease. Scenshuz is her memory, made wearable, and his lifelong tribute to the women who deserve to be held beautifully, from the ground up.

Scenshuz is not just about craft. It is about his late sister — muse, critic, and greatest supporter. She believed in the brand before a single shoe existed. One month after Scenshuz launched, Alex lost her, and in the quietest way, she became the reason the brand will never stop. Every design carries her taste for timeless silhouettes, her insistence on comfort, and her love for beauty that lasts.
